How the World Bank Uses Social Network Analysis to Support Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries

In this talk I'll cover how the World Bank and its partners combined non-traditional survey techniques with unstructured open data to collect and analyze geospatial and multi-entity dynamic graph data in cities such as Cairo, Medellín, and Beirut, as well as lessons learned from using data science to inform policy interventions aimed at catalyzing developing urban technology innovation ecosystems.
